The 2026 iPhone Photography Awards Prove Great Photos Have Nothing to Do With Expensive Cameras
The 2026 IPPAWARDS winners have been announced, celebrating two decades of the longest-running smartphone photography competition with thousands of entries from over 140 countries.

The winners of the 2026 iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) have been announced, celebrating two decades of one of the longest-running smartphone photography competitions. This year's contest attracted thousands of entries from photographers in more than 140 countries, once again proving that a compelling image depends far more on creativity and timing than the camera in your hand.
Taking the Grand Prix Photographer of the Year title is Robyn Jensen from the Cayman Islands for a striking nature photograph captured on an iPhone 15 Pro. Joining her are Gold Award winner Gellert Gombai of Hungary, Silver Award recipient Arnold Plotnick, and Bronze Award winner Catherine Wang from the United States. Alongside the overall winners, the competition recognised photographers across 13 categories, from architecture and city life to portraits, landscapes and wildlife.
