GEO magazine showcases the best iPhone photographs of the year from the IPPAWARDS 2026 competition, featuring Grand Prix winner Robyn Jensen and Gold Award recipient Gellert Gombai.

GEO magazine presents a selection of the best iPhone photographs of the year from the IPPAWARDS 2026 competition, the 19th annual installment of the world's longest-running iPhone photography awards.

Robyn Jensen from the Cayman Islands received the Grand Prix, Photographer of the Year, for a powerful image capturing a volcanic eruption at Yepocapa, Guatemala, shot on iPhone 15 Pro.

Gellert Gombai from Hungary earned the Gold Award as Photographer of the Year for a masterful play of shadow and light.
