Entry Guidelines
Everything you need to know before submitting your work to the IPPAWARDS photography competition. Please read these guidelines carefully to ensure your entries are eligible.
Eligibility
- Open to photographers worldwide — all nationalities and skill levels (amateur and professional) are welcome.
- All photographs must be taken with an iPhone or iPad. Images from DSLR, mirrorless, cameras are not eligible.
- There is no limit on the number of entries a photographer may submit; each entry requires one paid submission slot.
- Photographs must be the original work of the entrant. By submitting, you confirm you hold all rights to the image.
Submission Rules
- Purchase an entry bundle to receive submission slots — each slot allows one photograph.
- After checkout, upload your photos via the Upload page. Each photo must include a title and category.
- You may edit or replace a photo until the submission deadline has passed.
- Entries must be received by the published deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Photos that have won major awards in previous IPPAWARDS competitions are not eligible for re-entry.

Editing
Editing on a mobile or desktop app is permitted; composites and heavy manipulation should not be entered
Metadata
Original capture date and device metadata should be preserved where possible

Abstract, Animals, Architecture, Children, Citylife/Cityscape, Landscape, Lifestyle, Nature, People, Portrait, Series (3 images), Other.
Use of images & disclaimer
Copyright and all other rights remain that of the photographer. Any photograph used by IPPAWARDS shall carry the photographer’s credit line. Use may include publication in any IPPAWARDS media sponsor publication. All entrants understand and agree that any image submitted to the competition may be used by IPPAWARDS to use for marketing and promotional purposes including in any media such as exhibitions, print and digital media directly related to the IPPAWARDS competition. Participants represent and warrant that (1) the Photographs are original and that they own the rights to their Photographs, (2) the Photographs do not violate the rights of any third party, (3) the Photographs do not convey a false or misleading impression, and (4) any additional information they submit about the Photographs is accurate.
Winner Notification
All winners will be announced online 16 to 20 weeks after the final submission deadline. Only top winners in each categories will be notified before the official announcement.
